  Meuleman Mollerup attorney, Geoffrey J. McConnell, in association with a partnering law firm and representatives from the Idaho Department of Commerce PTAC (Procurement Technical Assistance Center) and the Idaho Department of Transportation, will present information on Federal & State Contracting and Procurement Opportunities.  Speakers will explain how companies can engage in the government procurement process and how to address the compliance challenges associated with government bids and contracting. 

           Geoff McConnell is a partner with the law firm Meuleman Mollerup LLP.  Mr. McConnell has 21 years of experience in construction litigation, representing general contractors, specialty contractors, owners and subcontractors in state and federal courts in Idaho and California, and before federal boards of contract appeals.  He has represented clients in arbitration proceeding and before state and local public works dispute resolution boards.

Registration fee is $25.00.  All net proceeds will be donated to the Construction Education Foundation of Idaho, whose mission is to fund scholarships for students enrolled in trade school and higher education construction programs, and to bring information on construction-related careers to high school students.
